St. Anthony Missionary Program

The St. Anthony Missionary Program is a unique opportunity for young women to work
alongside the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal in their different apostolates in Ireland
and share in various aspects of their community and prayer life. The primary goal is to
give young women the opportunity to strengthen their personal relationship with Jesus
and discern their vocation. This is accomplished through an emphasis on prayer,
intentional community, hands on service to the poor, and works of evangelization
especially with the youth. Living a life of greater simplicity and less distractions, the
missionary year creates an environment which is conducive for discernment, and the
formation offered is meant to assist each young woman in discovering where and how
she will best be able to make an authentic gift of herself to the Lord. The program is one
year, beginning in September, and is open to women ages 21-35. The missionaries live
at Teach Mhuire - Our Lady’s House, in Drogheda, Ireland near St. Anthony Convent.

Tuesday
Daily responsibilities / Apostolate.
Sister to join for Holy Hour and dinner at Our Lady's House .
7:30 Formation Meeting
Wednesday
Study time
Daily responsibilities / Apostolate.
Thursday
Daily responsibilities / Apostolate
Holy Hour and Dinner at the Convent
Assist with the Upper Room Youth Group
Friday
Day Off
Saturday
Daily Responsibilities / Apostolate.
Holy Hour and Dinner at the Convent
(or day off when there is a Sunday apostolate.)
Sunday
Lord's Day / Day off, unless assisting with an apostolate
Holy Mass followed by brunch with the sisters on occasion.
