I turn
looking away from myself
The Dawn appears
Beauty unparalleled
My eyes widen with grace
Transfixed
in receptive waiting
I gaze faintly discerning
Am I the one who has been seen?
The wind carries a voice:
“Hush, dear one, hush.
Listen and understand.
The Father’s blessing is not withheld.”
Extending my heart to the Dawn
In trustful surrender
I rise to perceive:
Ah, all is well,
The Beautiful One was there first
holding His Heart out for me.
